  • Sleep for atleast 6-8 hours every night by following a quality sleeping pattern
  • Reduce screen time before your sleep. Avoid using phones or laptops at least an hour before going to sleep
  • Apply cucumber slices on your eyes to help them relax from all the fatigue. Vitamin C in cucumber helps to moisturize eyes
  • Tea bags can also help in reducing dark circles because of the antioxidant properties of caffeine. Heat up the tea bags and then cool them in refrigerator before applying on your eyes for best results

  • Topical creams- Creams containing bleach can help in reducing hyperpigmentation under eyes. Such creams can contain hydroquinone, tretinoin or a combination of both and it can take up to 3 months to see the results.
  • Kojic Acid- It is a natural product that is a result of two species of fungi. It helps in treating dark circles but can have side effects like contact dermatitis.
  • Lasers- laser therapy such as pulsed dye or diode lasers can be used to treat dark circles and considered less invasive. Laser therapy uses heat to vaporize damaged cells and increase the production of collagen.
  • Fillers- Derma fillers can be injected under your eyes. It consists of hyaluronic acid which boosts hydration under the eyes thereby making dark circles less prominent
  • Chemical peeling- It uses acids like glycolic acid which helps in gently removing the top layer of your skin to reveal a fresh layer. It can be used in combination with topical creams for better results
